Tal’s Pals provides a professional, personal and friendly dog walking service. I am fully insured and experienced in dog walking. I'm based in Staveley and cover all surrounding areas including Inkersall, Brimington, Lowegates, Mastin Moor and Poolsbrook. I provide a high quality service, where reliability, value for money and flexibility are ensured. The highest level of care will be provided to your pet and they will be treated as if they were my own.
I offer group walks of up to four dogs at a time. I personally feel that limiting the number of dogs enables me to give each dog the time and attention that they need and to ensure that they get maximum enjoyment out of their walk. I also offer solo dog walks if this is preferable to you and would be more suitable for your dog. I will tailor the walk to fit your dog's needs in terms of the length of the walk, the time of day that suits them (and you!) and location of the walk.
I also provide a pet visiting service where I can take care of the needs of your cat or small animal while you are away or at work. This can include feeding, changing cat litter, letting your pet out for exercise and providing them with company.

My name is Chantal Barker and I live in the Staveley, Chesterfield area. I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and I am truly grateful for having the opportunity to work with dogs on a daily basis. The therapeutic effect that animals have on humans has always amazed me and I find it such a wonderful thing to see. My cat Seefa (C for Cat!) and Spike, my bearded dragon, are a big part of my life and have brought so much joy to me and my family. I understand how much pets mean to their owners and the importance of knowing that their pet is in the best of hands. For all the happiness that pets bring to us, I feel they deserve the utmost care and respect.
I have a background in care work and whilst working as a Personal Assistant, part of my job entailed dog walking. I thoroughly enjoyed this and decided that I would love to walk dogs on a full time basis. I set up my dog walking business in March this year, which began by voluntarily walking dogs. This was to help owners who were shielding, due to the Covid 19 Crisis. I have loved every minute of walking the dogs in my care. I am currently working towards a Professional Dog Walker Certificate through the British College of Canine Studies.
